Work-from-home support roles hiring this month - what worked for you?

A company is hiring remote support agents on a rolling basis this month. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They use a short typing and listening test. What should I know about the test?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
