Work-from-home support roles hiring this month - what worked for you?

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a store manager. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They use a short typing and listening test. What should I know about the test?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
