Work-from-home support roles hiring this month - what worked for you?

A company is hiring remote support agents on a rolling basis this month. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The schedules are set in advance, including some weekends. Are there warning signs I should look for?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
