I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as an IT help-desk technician. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
