Work-from-home support roles hiring this month - any advice?

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a project coordinator. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They use a short typing and listening test. What should I know about the test?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
