Work-from-home support roles hiring this month after 3 years as a retail manager

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a retail manager. It has been weighing on me all week. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet. Are there warning signs I should look for?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
