Work-from-home support roles hiring this month after 17 years as a barista

A company is hiring remote support agents on a rolling basis this month. I am in Honolulu, in case local advice matters. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet. What should I know about the test?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.

The test was a short typing check and a role-play call. Practising with a friend helped a lot.
