Work-from-home support roles hiring this month - 6 months and counting

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as an IT help-desk technician. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They use a short typing and listening test. What should I know about the test?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
