Word-of-mouth leads in Tucson - first time posting

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They like a brief email with a résumé. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
