Word-of-mouth leads in Tampa - what worked for you?

A friend who works at a local manufacturer says there are openings not advertised online. I worked as a logistics coordinator before this. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Does anyone have similar leads?

Small employers often hire on recommendation. Ask neighbours, former co-workers and your library.

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
