Word-of-mouth leads in Seattle - first time posting

Two small Seattle employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I worked as a delivery driver before this. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. What do you write in a cold email?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
