Word-of-mouth leads in Seattle - first time posting

Two small Seattle employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I do not usually post, so bear with me. They like a brief email with a résumé. Should I visit in person?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
