Word-of-mouth leads in Seattle - any advice?

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. It has been a long 9 weeks. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic.

Small employers often hire on recommendation. Ask neighbours, former co-workers and your library.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
