Word-of-mouth leads in Raleigh - 10 months and counting

Two small Raleigh employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks.

Small employers often hire on recommendation. Ask neighbours, former co-workers and your library.

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
