Word-of-mouth leads in Memphis - 6 months and counting

Two small Memphis employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. It has been a long 24 weeks. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Should I visit in person?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
