Word-of-mouth leads in Madison, bookkeeper here

Two small Madison employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I have been trying to stay organised about it. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
