I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
