Word-of-mouth leads in Honolulu

Two small Honolulu employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. They like a brief email with a résumé. Should I visit in person?

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
