Word-of-mouth leads in Hartford - 12 months and counting

Two small Hartford employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. Does anyone have similar leads?

Small employers often hire on recommendation. Ask neighbours, former co-workers and your library.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
