Word-of-mouth leads in Detroit after 13 years as a home health aide

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. Any experience at all would help. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Does anyone have similar leads?

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
