Word-of-mouth leads in Denver - what worked for you?

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. It has been a long 3 weeks. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
