Word-of-mouth leads in Columbus, janitorial supervisor here

Two small Columbus employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They like a brief email with a résumé. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
