Word-of-mouth leads in Albuquerque - 15 weeks in

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They like a brief email with a résumé. Does anyone have similar leads?

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
