Warehouse hiring event in St. Louis this week - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of St. Louis, with day and night shifts. It has been a long 16 weeks. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
