Warehouse hiring event in St. Louis this week (St. Louis)

A distribution centre near St. Louis is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
