Warehouse hiring event in St. Louis this week after 11 years as a line cook

A distribution centre near St. Louis is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I do not usually post, so bear with me. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
