Warehouse hiring event in San Diego this week (San Diego)

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of San Diego, with day and night shifts. I worked as a customer-service rep before this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
