Warehouse hiring event in San Diego this week after 18 years as a copywriter

A distribution centre near San Diego is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I do not usually post, so bear with me. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
