Warehouse hiring event in Raleigh this week - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Raleigh is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
