Warehouse hiring event in Raleigh this week - any advice?

A logistics company in Raleigh is adding people before the busy season. It has been weighing on me all week. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
