Warehouse hiring event in Portland this week (Portland)

A distribution centre near Portland is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
