Warehouse hiring event in Portland this week - any advice?

Mateo Nkemelu · 2026-08-21T14:04:01.249Z

A distribution centre near Portland is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. It has been a long 17 weeks. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
