Warehouse hiring event in Portland this week - any advice?

A distribution centre near Portland is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
