Warehouse hiring event in Portland this week - any advice?

A distribution centre near Portland is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
