Warehouse hiring event in Pittsburgh this week after 14 years as a retail manager

A distribution centre near Pittsburgh is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
