Warehouse hiring event in Omaha this week - any advice?

A distribution centre near Omaha is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
