Warehouse hiring event in Minneapolis this week - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Minneapolis is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
