Warehouse hiring event in Memphis this week - 4 weeks in

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Memphis, with day and night shifts. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
