Warehouse hiring event in Madison this week after 3 years as a customer-service rep

A distribution centre near Madison is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
