Warehouse hiring event in Hartford this week - 10 months and counting

A distribution centre near Hartford is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
