Warehouse hiring event in Detroit this week - what worked for you?

A logistics company in Detroit is adding people before the busy season. Any experience at all would help. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
