Warehouse hiring event in Dallas this week after 11 years as an HR coordinator

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Dallas, with day and night shifts. Any experience at all would help. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
