Warehouse hiring event in Chicago this week, recruiter here

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Chicago, with day and night shifts. I worked as a recruiter before this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
