Warehouse hiring event in Charlotte this week - any advice?

Malaika Okafor · 2026-08-03T09:34:36.544Z

A distribution centre near Charlotte is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. It has been weighing on me all week. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
