Warehouse hiring event in Birmingham this week after 12 years as a data-entry clerk

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Birmingham, with day and night shifts. It has been a long 18 weeks. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
