Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Wichita - what worked for you?

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Applications close in 8 weeks. Did anyone go through it?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
