Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Sacramento after 18 years as a customer-service rep

The training centre near Sacramento opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. It has been weighing on me all week. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. How hard is the test?
