Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Portland (update)

The training centre near Portland opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. Did anyone go through it?

You earn while you learn, but the first year is tight. Plan your budget carefully.
