Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Phoenix - what worked for you?

The training centre near Phoenix opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Applications close in 24 weeks. How hard is the test?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
