Union apprenticeship sign-ups near Omaha (update)

The training centre near Omaha opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Applications close in 23 weeks. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
